My Deliverables

Research approach

I conducted secondary research by observing Agile processes to identify inefficiencies in communication, task management, and workflow coordination. Additionally, an expert interview with the Scrum Master helped uncover key pain points and explore potential improvements to streamline his role and enhance team efficiency.

Defining the problem

I identified key challenges by analyzing workflow inefficiencies and gathering insights from the Scrum Master. The main issues included communication gaps, fragmented task management, and process bottlenecks that impacted team efficiency.

Generating ideas

To address workflow inefficiencies, I brainstormed solutions for a centralized digital Scrumboard integrating sprint planning, backlog management, and real-time tracking. The focus was on enhancing collaboration, transparency, and efficiency while simplifying task management for teams and the Scrum Master.

Prototype

I created low-fidelity wireframes and interactive prototypes to visualize Scrum management workflows, including sprint planning, backlog management, and real-time task tracking. The design prioritizes intuitive navigation, seamless collaboration, and workflow transparency to enhance team efficiency.

Problem statement

In the current setup, there is no formal documentation of the daily scrum meetings or backlog maintenance sessions, and attendance records are not maintained. This lack of documentation creates significant challenges, particularly when multiple projects are running simultaneously. Scrum masters struggle to provide accurate project data/histories to clients and internal stakeholders, leading to inefficiencies and potential miscommunications.

Product goal

Establish a comprehensive documentation system for daily scrum meetings and backlog maintenance sessions, including detailed attendance records. This system will enhance the ability of scrum masters to efficiently track and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring accurate and accessible project histories for clients and internal stakeholders.
